Ptolemaic Egypt. Ptolemy XII, Auletes, 80-58 BC. and 55-51 BC. Lot of Two Base AR Tetradrachms. Each with: Idealized bust of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis / Eagle left on thunderbolt, regnal inscription around; date, and Crown of Isis at left, ΠA at right. BMC p. 115, 10; p. 116, 18. One with choice portrait, but some striking flatness. Metal quite decent for these. Lot of 2 coins. Coins average Very Fine, one perhaps better.
