Bar Kochba Revolt, related. Lot of Three Roman AR Tetradrachms, found in association AR Selae. . Hen-740. All issues from Antioch, Syria. Nero: Laureate and aegis draped bust right / Eagle on thunderbolt right, palm branch at right (dated 63/64 AD.); RPC 4189. Galba: Laureate head right, star in right field / Eagle on thunderbolt left, palm branch at left (dated 68/69 AD.); RPC 4196. And, Trajan: Laureate head right / Eagle on thunderbolt left, head reverted; BMC Syria, p. 185, 288. Coins with variety of tones. All with good portraits. The Galba scarce. Any of these coins could have provided the metal flan for the preceding selae. Coins range from Fine plus, to Choice Very Fine.
