Erasmus. Liber utilissiamus De Conscribendis Epist:…. Amsterdam: Joannem Janssonium, 1629. 445 pages, 4¼" x 2¼". Latin text, frontispiece engraving of Erasmus. Old leather rebinding with gilt title plate on spine. Slight glue repair to inside front hinge. The first 30 pages have numerous light pen underlining and a few tiny margin notations, else a fine copy with a tight binding. Clipped lower right corner on p. 35, not affecting.text. Original 17th century book plate of Isaac Norris, one of first founders of Philadelphia, Pa. and a close friend of William Penn.
