Rare Collection: Muky Studio Photographs from The Scalphunters 40 Photographs Total. Menyhert Munkacsi (1909-1999) known throughout the film industry for 60 years as "Muky" and who the New York Times called "the Mathew Brady" of film when they profiled/reviewed the outdoor set photography of some 75 films. He was also an accomplished studio photographer working for Warner Brothers from 1930 to 1940.
40 11 x 14 black and white photographs taken on set while filming The Scalphunters. These photos feature the stars Bob Lancaster, Shelly Winters, Telly Savalas, Ossie Davis, Armando Silvestre. Most of these photographs are stamped on verso with "Photo by Muky" in red ink. 28 of these are signed by Muky in the bottom right corner. Estimated Value $200 - 400
