Macedonian Kingdom. Demetrios I Poliorketes, 294-288 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.0 g), Amphipolis mint, struck c. 289-288 BC. Diademed head of Demetrios right, with bull's horn of Poseidon. Reverse: Poseidon stands left, foot on rock, holding trident; regnal inscription, monogram at left. Newell 124. Bold strike. Pleasing light, slightly iridescent toning. Very Fine plus.
