Rare Collection: Muky Studio Photographs from Murder, Inc and The World of Henry Orient 40 Photographs Total. Menyhert Munkacsi (1909-1999) known throughout the film industry for 60 years as "Muky" and who the New York Times called "the Mathew Brady" of film when they profiled/reviewed the outdoor set photography of some 75 films. He was also an accomplished studio photographer working for Warner Brothers from 1930 to 1940.
18 11 x 14 black and white photographs taken on set while filming Murder, Inc. These photos feature the stars Peter Falk, Simon Oakland, Stuart Whitman, and May Britt. Most of these photographs are stamped on verso with identification in blue ink. 2 photographs are signed by Muky in the bottom right corner.
22 11 x 14 black and white photographs taken on set while filming The World of Henry Orient. These photos feature the stars Peter Sellers, Paula Prentiss, Tippy Walker, and Merrie Spaeth.
