Lot 427

1825 N-10 R3 NGC graded MS62 Brown. Frosty steel and dark chocolate brown with lighter steel brown toning in protected areas. No contact marks of any significance, but there are several tiny spots of dark crud in protected areas on both sides. In addition a very thin layer of natural oxidation subdues the luster, especially on the obverse. It appears this cent would benefit from a proper bath to uncover its full potential. Scarce late die state with a cud break that joins star 7 to the rim above. Our grade is EF45. Near the lower end of the condition census for the variety but clearly one of the finest known of the LDS. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.

Realized $1,380
