1787 Fugio Cent Newman 1-B Rarity-4 Cross After Date G6. Variety with UNITED STATES. Slightly glossy medium chocolate and darker olive brown. The surfaces are mostly smooth but there is a shallow planchet lamination in some of the sun rays (as struck) and a patch of corrosion in ring number 9. Traces of glue or some similar substance can be found on the reverse. The date and legends are all readable and the cross following the date is clear. Early die state before any die clashmarks on the reverse. Estimate Value $250 - UP
