Billie Dove, "The Lady Who Dared" (1903 - 1997) Billie Dove was an American actress who appeared in numerous silent films in the 1920s and 1930s. She began her career as a model, and then transitioned into acting, appearing in The Ziegfeld Follies Revue. Dove began to appear in silent films in 1921 and quickly became a popular leading lady, starring opposite many of the top male stars at the time. She was known for her beauty and her ability to convey emotion on screen.

A leather bound album, embossed with the text "BILLIE DOVE IN THE LADY WHO DARED", containing 89 photographs from the 1931 American pre-Code drama film starring Billie Dove, Sidney Blackmer, Conway Tearle, Judith Vosselli, Cosmo Kyrle Bellew, Ivan F. Simpson, Mathilde Comont, and Lloyd Ingraham. Estimated Value $300 - 500
