Billie Dove, "At the Stage Door" 110 Exceptionally Fine B&W Stills (1903 - 1997) Billie Dove was an American actress who appeared in numerous silent films in the 1920s and 1930s. She began her career as a model, and then transitioned into acting, appearing in The Ziegfeld Follies Revue. Dove began to appear in silent films in 1921 and quickly became a popular leading lady, starring opposite many of the top male stars at the time. She was known for her beauty and her ability to convey emotion on screen.
This is a wonderfully bound album with 110 still photographs from the 1921 silent film, At the Stage Door. This romantic drama was the first film Billie Dove was featured in, starring alongside Miriam Battista, William Carter Jr., Carlton Griffin, Charles Craig, Billy Quirk, Huntley Gordon, and Doris Eaton.
