Billie Dove, "Adoration" (1903 - 1997) Billie Dove was an American actress who appeared in numerous silent films in the 1920s and 1930s. She began her career as a model, and then transitioned into acting, appearing in The Ziegfeld Follies Revue. Dove began to appear in silent films in 1921 and quickly became a popular leading lady, starring opposite many of the top male stars at the time. She was known for her beauty and her ability to convey emotion on screen.
This leather bound album, embossed with the text "BILLIE DOVE IN ADORATION", contains 128 still photographs from the 1928 American synchronized sound drama film starring Billie Dove, Antonio Moreno, Emile Chautard, Lucy Doraine, Nicholas Bela, Nicholas Soussanin, Winifred Bryson, and Lucien Prival.
