1891-S. PCGS graded MS-65 Deep Mirror Prooflike. This is a truly rare coin to find with the Deep Cameo contrast, particularly so in Gem condition. Any collector of Morgan silver dollars who favors the Deep Cameo contrast soon learns that precious few of these are attractive, even cons as high as Mint State 63 with Deep Cameo contrast often have a blizzard of bagmarks which are magnified by the extremely delicate mirror fields and frosted devices. Notably gentle storage of these prized Morgans results in far lower grades than found here. While this is not at all a challenging date to find in Mint State, in Deep Cameo and Gem it is all but impossible. Notice how few have been graded and figure your bid accordingly. A nice white coin.
