1796 S-81 R3 Liberty Cap VG8. Mostly glossy chocolate brown and steel. There are traces of very fine roughness in the fields and protected areas but overall this cent offers decent eye appeal for the grade. No notable marks or verdigris. The date is bold and the legends are clear except for weakness in the center of the reverse, as usual on this variety.
