Jimmy Stewart: Beloved Actor from Hollywood's Golden Age. Hand-Drawn Rabbit Signed "Harvey" and Jimmy Stewart (1908-1997) One of the most popular actors in Hollywood history, with outstanding performances ranging from screwball classics, to Alfred Hitchcock's "Everyman".
In 1950, Stewart was cast in the lead of HARVEY in the role of Elwood P. Dowd who has a 6"3" invisible rabbit as his best friend. This became a signature film for Stewart that he took to sketching a rabbit for autographs, then autographing "Harvey" and Jimmy Steward.

This is a particularly fine example as Stewart illustrated and signed on white card stock. Not a single flaw or smudge on this piece and absolutely ready for framing. An outstanding piece for fans of the great Jimmy Stewart. 8.5 x 11". Estimated Value $500 - 800
The Santa Barbara Collection.
