1877-CC. PCGS graded AU-53. CAC. Premium Quality. A mostly untoned example with dove gray surfaces, a bold strike and traces of mint luster in the protected areas. The orignal mintage of over 500,000 was likely reduced by nearly ten percent of this which may have been melted before leaving the Carson City Mint. What is well known today is that this is a scarce issue to find, especially so in high collector grades as this coin offers (PCGS # 7045) Estimated Value $1,500 - 1,600
