Russia. Catherine II, the Great (1762-1796). 1796. Novodel 5 Kopeck. B-31. Edge-1. Cipher series. A coin that should be studied. Struck from porous dies. Medium brown, a little mint red around the devices. Evidence of a multiple strike. Reverse border seems a bit crimped, but it's probably in the die. NGC graded MS-64.
