Lot 3621
Pair of Counterstamped Half Cents, 1850 & 1851. The 1850 graded VG10 and is stamped in the center of the obverse G.W.C. in relatively small but easily readable incuse letters. Brunk lists this stamp as his C-53. The 1851 grades F15 and is stamped across the obverse with raised N and S at opposite ends of a scalloped rectangle. The stamp was added twice in a cross pattern. This stamp is not listed by Brunk. Lot of 2 coins.
