1855 C-1 R1 Obverse counterstamped W. COX, Brunk C-1008. EF-45. Choice glossy medium brown and chocolate. The stamp is strongly impressed, a bit stronger on the top than the bottom, but everything is bold. This is the Brunk plate coin for the variety, but nothing is known for sure about the maker.
