Lot 354

1827 N-1 R2. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. Lustrous light brown and bluish steel blending to light olive on the obverse. Looks choice mint state but there is a hint of rub on the highest points of the devices. No notable contact marks; a small spot of darker brown toning under the right point of star 1 can help identify this cent. E-MDS. There are faint radial die flowlines in the fields but the thin horizontal die line off the right end of the line below CENT is clear. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Nancy & Bryan Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 2 finer in 64. (PCGS # 36838) Value $2,500 - UP
Ex Thomas D. Reynolds 9/14/2006-Nancy & Bryan Collection.

Realized $1,800
