Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AE Sestertius, Rome mint, struck 119 AD. Rare. Laureate bust right, drapery at one shoulder, band at other.Reverse: "Libertas Restituta": Hadrian seated left on platform, extanding hand to woman with child in arm and one at feet. RIC 568; BMCRE 1160. Well struck and perfectly centered, on very round flan. Fields show some light smoothing, but choice dark olive-brown patina, with interesting pictorial reverse. Choice Very Fine.
