Great Britain. Royal Red Cross Order. Established 1883 to reward nurses aiding British soldiers. The 2nd Class added in 1915 with increased wartime awards. WW I King George V type, Second Class Badge; silver and red enamel, 41mm high by 36mm wide; on bow ribbon with silver pinback brooch. Obv: Head left of King. Rv: Crowned royal monogram, "Faith, Hope, Charity, 1883" on cross arms. Extremely Fine with excellent enamel.
