Great Britain. Crown, 1902. S.3979; Dav-109; ESC-362; KM-803. Edward VII, 1901-1910. Obverse: De Saulle's iconic bare headed portrait of King. Reverse: Pistrucci's St George and dragon. For a matte proof this coin has exceptional eye appeal and both sides have acquired an undulating light gold and blue tone. A superb piece, where even the edge is pristine. In a new NGC 4 prong holder. NGC graded Matte Proof 63.
