Judaea. Lot of Various AE's, Jewish and Bar Kochba Wars. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. All nicely identified in cardboard/cellophane holders, perhaps 20 years ago. Jewish War includes Years 2 & 3 amphora prutot; plus Year 4, AE Eighth (Hendin 670). Bar Kochba pieces include: Year 1: barbarous, yet quite stylish Middle AE (cf. Hendin 678a). And for Year 3: typical Middle AE (Hendin 736); Small bronze with kithara (Hendin 735), overstruck on an Antiocene AE; and two usual small AE 18's (Hendin 738, 739). Inspection suggested for conditions and surfaces, and accuracy of attribution. Excellent beginner's lot; a number of the pieces quite attractive for this material. Lot of 8 coins. Coins average Very Fine.
