Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1901. S.3938; ESC-735; KM-782. Victoria, 1837-1901. Obverse: Old crowned bust of Queen wearing veil, facing left. Reverse: Small crowned spade shaped shield of arms within ornate Garter chain. Struck during the final days of the longest reign in British history, this is a sharp frosty coin with a generous amount of original luster. Scarce in top grades. An (overall) untoned obverse and just a splattering of golden blue on the reverse. A superb specimen. NGC graded MS-63.
