D N IVSTINI-AVS P P AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justinian facing, holding globus cruciger in right hand and shield decorated with horseman riding down enemy on left arm. Reverse: VICTORI-A AVGGG A, angel standing facing, holding long cross and globus cruciger; star to right, CONOB in exergue. Sear 139. DOC 8a. Minor flan flaw in center, a few light rim marks, otherwise a pleasing example from this monumental ruler. About Extremely Fine. Estimate Value $400 - 450
