Justinian I, the Great, AD 527-565. Lot of two gold solidi (4.25g. and 4.29g.). Constantinople, 3rd and 5th officinae, AD 542-546. Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justinian facing, holding globus cruciger and shield. Reverse: Angel standing facing, holding long cross and globus cruciger; star to right, CONOB in exergue. Sear 139. One slightly bent, both with various minor surface marks and lightly clipped. Lot of 2 coins. Very Fine or better. Estimate Value $500 - 550
