Parthian Kingdom. Mithradates, 123-88 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.69 g), Seleukeia mint. Diademed bust left, wearing embroidered robe and torc. Reverse: Archer seated right, on omphalos, within square formed by legend, palm branch to right. Shore 67; Sell. 24.4. Some weakness to archer's face, otherwise choice strike on excellent metal. Lightly toned, with mint luster. Extremely Fine.
