China. Empire. Boris Karloff Signed Chung Hwa Republic $10. Ten Gold Dollars, undated ca. 1896. S/M-C 262-2. A fund raising note issued during Imperial times by Republican interests abroad. Most interestingly, this one is hand autographed at left by the famous actor Boris Karloff, most remembered for his role as Frankenstein. Very Fine and of great historical interest on many levels!
