Bar Kochba Revolt, AD 132-135. AR Sela (13.6 g), Year 3 (undated), struck 134/135 AD. . Hen-711. Facade of Temple, Ark within, star above. Reverse: Lulav with etrog to left; Hebrew inscription around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Hendin 711; Mild. 57 (O13/R43). Overstruck on a tetradrachm of Tyre, likely that of Trajan, the undertype clearly visible. Slightly toned, the strike a little uneven. Some areas of corrosion about the periphery. Very Fine.
