Macedonian Kingdom. Antigonos Gonatas, 277-239 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.03 g), Amphipolis mint, struck after 271/270 BC. Head of Pan, wearing nebris, at center of Macedonian shield with eight stars about edge. Reverse: Athena Alkidemos advancing left, brandishing arms; crested helmet at bottom left, monogram at right. SNG Cop. 1199; Pozzi 970. Sharp, lightly toned, and lustrous. Extremely Fine.
