60 Piece Reed & Barton Place Setting. French Renaissance. 60 piece Reed & Barton sterling silver place setting. The flatware consists primarily the "French Renaissance" pattern that premiered in 1941 and was designed by George L. Turner. There are 8 forks, 6 dinner knives, 8 teaspoons, 6 soup spoons, 6 dessert forks, 4 demitasse spoons, 6 butter spreads, 6 cocktail forks, 1 butter knife and 1 solid jelly spoon. Augmenting the setting is the very similar Reed & Barton "Francis I" pattern that premiered in 1907 with 6 forks, 1 dessert fork and 1 butter spread the hostess used as extras. 78½ troy ounces (excluding the stainless steel portion of knives) and in excellent condition. Estimate $900 - 1,200
