Phoenicia, Tyre. 126 BC - AD 65. AR Tetradrachm (14.22). Dated IN = year 60. Bust of Melkart right, wearing laurel wreath. Reverse: Eagle standing left on prow, palm frond over right wing, delta below; to left club with date above, Phoenician letter A between legs. Cf. Sear 5918. Well struck and excellent metal. A lovely example of this popular coin. Superb Extremely Fine.
