Phoenicia, Sidon, Fourth Century BC. AR Double Shekel (25.63 g) perhaps minted under King 'Abd'Ashtart I, 372-358 BC. War-galley traveling left on zigzag lines of waves. Reverse: Great King in chariot left with driver and attendant. Cf. the excellent article in the ANS Museum Notes 21 by John Betlyon. Old scratches on obverse. Fine.

Sadly the date above the obverse war-galley has been effaced, so closer identification is not possible.
Estimated Value $350 - 450.
