France. Lot of Seven Medieval Coins. Includes a silver denier of Louis the Pious (cross/temple type), scarce billon denier of Philip Augustus (cross/hexagram), silver gros tournois of Philip IV, plus two coins of Spain and two of Naples/Sicily. Lot of 7 coins. Condition is Fine to Very Fine.
In 1306 Philip IV confiscated everything that the Jews owned in France. Banished to Spain, they then had 200 years of relative peace.
