1880, $20 United States Note. PMG Gem New 66. . Fr-142. . KL-541. Small red scalloped seal with lovely blue serial numbers. The same designs as on the 1869 Rainbow series, 1875, and 1880 series $20 bills (which were in production until the late-1920s by the way, despite the 1880 series date). This is a handsome Bruce-Roberts piece with simply gorgeous wide margins leaving the note nicely centered and perfectly framed. A note for the connoisseur.
