Aiolis, Kyme, c. 160 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.68 g). Diademed head right of the Amazon Kyme. Reverse: Horse standing right with raised left front leg; around, laurel wreath. SNG von Aulock 1639. About Extremely Fine.
Probably from the El-Aweiniye Hoard (1941), IGCH 1550.
This type from Kyme is the most commonly seen of the stephanephoroi ("wreath bearers"); this particular tetradrachm is of attractive Hellenistic style.
