Pablo Picasso (1881 -1973) Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet, playwright and one of the most outsized of personalities who spent most of his adult life in France. From the book "Dessins" published in 1969, Picasso has signed in white pencil a printed 11½ x 8¾" image from the book on heavy stock in the uppermost right corner.
