1876 Trade Dollar. NGC graded Proof 64. Lovely rose color toning with electric blue iridescense at the borders. A total 1150 Proofs were coined. A thrilling example of this always-popular Trade dollar Type. This exceptional coin is beautifully toned and very nicely struck. A hint of weakness that is sometimes seen on the later Proofs (1879-83) is missing on this sharply struck Centennial Year 1876 specimen, with the key central areas razor-sharp from the dies.
