MATIDIA AVG DIVAE MARCIANAE F, diademed and draped bust of Matidia right, hair in elaborately coifed row curls above brow and bound into tight bun high at back of head. Reverse: PIETAS AVGVST, Matidia standing facing, head left, resting hands on heads of child standing to either side. RIC 759; Woytek 729; BN 913-4; BMC 660-4; RSC 10. Very Rare. Fantastic needle-sharp portrait! Lightly toned with some darker areas. About Extremely Fine. Estimated Value $1,250 - UP
