Sicily. Akragas, c. 510-500 BC. AR Didrachm (8.6 g). Rare. The earliest type from Akragas. Eagle standing left, ethnic around. Reverse: Top view of crab. SNG ANS 909 (same reverse die). Toned, the obverse in high relief. Crab with striking flaw at center; die break above. Very Fine.
