Irvin Cobb, Celebrated Depression Era Humorist Memorabilia: Includes A Rare Signed Shirley Temple Photograph While Quite Young. Irvin Cobb an American author, humorist, editor and columnist based in New York City his entire life. He wrote for the New York World, Joseph Pulitzer's newspaper and at the time was the highest paid staff reporter in the United States. He also authored the Judge Priest series of books as well as writing the screenplays of a great number of silent movies
Collection includes:
A very desirable photo of Irvin Cobb and Shirley Temple and signed by Shirley Temple at a young age.
Also included are 18 Black and White Photographs of Irvin Cobb, 4 Signed Black and White Photographs of Irvin Cobb, 1 Signed Sketch of Irvin Cobb, 9 Signed Letters by Irvin Cobb, and a handwritten document "My Accident and Casualty Policy." Estimated Value $400 - 800
