Acclaimed Studio Photographer Muky, Personal Collection of Dance Photos and a Famous Nude Photo for Esqure Magazine. Menyhert Munkacsi (1909-1999) known throughout the film industry for 60 years as "Muky" and who the New York Times called "the Mathew Brady" of film when they profiled/reviewed the outdoor set photography of some 75 films. He was also an accomplished studio photographer working for Warner Brothers from 1930 to 1940.
Muky also was a brilliant art and dance photographer. In 1946 a photograph in Esquire caused quite a sensation with a nude surrounded by nude mannequins. Also included are galvanizing dance photographs which includes a killer Carmen Miranda. All 11 x 14" and signed by Muky. Estimated Value $250 - 400
