1851 N-8 R3- PCGS graded MS62 Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty light olive and tan with generous traces of mint red showing, particularly on the obverse. No spots or stains, only a few light contact marks. The notable marks are a light scuff on the coronet over BE and a tiny nick just left of the ear. LDS, die state b. The die line over the M in AMERICA is gone. Our grade is AU58+, tied for CC#11 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 6 finer: 1 in 63, 4 in 64, 1 in 65. Estimated Value $300 - UP
