Astronaut Candidate "Group XV11" Autographed Presentation Plaque. There are 31 Astronaut Candidates in this Group and 28 of them have signed the mat (20x16") surrounding a color Group photo (14x11") that has been professionally double matted. Note the attached "Group XV!!" PATCH. The mat is inscribed at top: "To Kandy, with many thanks from the "Penguins!" and a label with the Astronaut Candidates' names is at the bottom. We note Candidates Barbara Morgan and several others that have gone into space from this class. This is the first time we have seen this Group patch and an autographed Group photo from this Group. Undoubtedly scarce and seldom available. Excellent overall condition.
