1859 Liberty Seated Half Dime. PCGS graded Proof 61. Housed in a First Generation Holder. Well struck and lightly toned. Only 800 Proofs made. The 1859 issue is unique in having hollow center stars from a new hub that introduced that year only to be surplanted by Longacre's revisted Legend Obverse motif in 1860 (PCGS # 4438) .
