Space Shuttle, 1978, An Original "Space Shuttle" Program Patch (4") An original blue, white, gold patch, unmounted, with an unadorned 8x10" NASA presentation certificate that reads: "This Program Emblem is Presented to / Donald K. Slayton / A Member of the Space Shuttle Program Management Team. With Sincere Appreciation for Personal Contributions to the Development of the Nation's Space Transportation System". There is a printed signature of Robert F. Thompson, Mge. Space Shuttle Program. The original presentation envelope is included with Slayton's name typed on the front. Minor edge bends on the certificate should not detract. Unique.
