With 20 or so banks that issued Brown Back $100.00's in the state, one almost never sees them. In fact, it seems that all $50.00 and $100.00 Brown Backs have all but dried up. 5,267 notes were issued between 1898 and 1908. John H. Leatters signed as president. We are unable to decipher the cashier's signature. As to the grade, John Hickman said it best for a note like this. We're sure that he would agree with us, gradin Fine.
