1878-CC. PCGS graded VF-30. Lightly toned. This date, a scarce one with only 97,000 minted, provides eager collectors a splendid opportunity to land an attractive specimen. Carson City struck the Trade Dollar each year from 1873 to 1878, but it is the 1878-CC collectors find the most difficult to acquire in unimpaired circulated condition (PCGS # 7047) .
