Antique Case Pair of Medium Size Box-Lock Flint Pistols, ca. Early 19th Century. Medium sized box-lock flint pistols, unsigned, w/accessories, circa. early 19th century. 3¼" .44 cal. octagon barrels. 8¼" overall length. Engraved steel box-lock frame. Sliding saftys. Both stocks are solid with normal light scratches and dings from years of service. Both pistols are in wonderful condition with original blue on the top jaws and on the sliding saftys. Pistols are cased in a correct period English box with interesting period paper label and are in good working order. Case accessories include; small powder flask, bullet mold, balls, extra flints and tow. Box measures; 11¾ x 7¼". Estimate Value $3,500 - UP
