Lycia, Dynasts. Kherei, c. 410-390 BC. AR Stater (8.54 g). Head right of Athena wearing crested helmet decorated with olive leaves and floral scroll. Reverse: Veiled head right of the bearded satrap. Cf. Mørkholm and Zahle 46; cf. Schwabacher (Essays Robinson) plate 11, 9 (drachm); SNG von Aulock --. A wonderful example of a very rare and fascinating coin. Choice Very Fine/Extremely Fine.
